Yale is famous for providing safe lift trucks that are flexible and adaptable for many different tasks and applications. The ability to manufacture and engineer units for improved safety comes from the new technology which is available in the company's experience and the material handling business.
In their newest designs, Yale has started incorporating newly available technologies. Some of the new technologies that are on the market are first applied to forklift trucks and after that proven further through durability testing and functionality. The company conducts numerous controlled field tests and reliability development so as to ensure their products are really safe.
So as to enhance overall safety, Yale has engineered and developed many new features, which have been integrated on lots of models including:
Operator Compartment Controls and Ergonomics
The operator compartment has been engineered with ergonomics in mind, using state-of-the-art technology. These designs help to ensure that the operator avoids heavy repetitive motions as well as fatigue. These added comforts help to increase overall production.
Adjustable Operators Controls and Compartment
Adjustable operator controls allow the operators to choose the positioning of their necessary controls. This helps make the machine user friendly, regardless of who is utilizing it. Before starting their shift, the operator could make sure she or he is as comfortable as she or he can be.
Operator Presence System
The Operator Presence System prevents the hydraulic system operation from being utilized if the operator is not in the right operating position. This presence system also disables directional travel on IC engine truck models.
Swing-Out LPG Tank Bracket
The liquid propane gas tank has a drop down design that brings it out from the vehicle's center to the natural handling position of the operator which makes it far easier to change.
