Genie telescopic S-booms have a horizontal reach of between 9.65 meters and 24.38 meters and working heights of 14.20 meters to 40.15 meters. Compared with various other aerial work platforms, telescoping booms have a a range of horizontal reach that is much greater. Genie telescopic booms are designed with consideration to being able to access confined places during industrial and construction applications. They are also recognized for their ability to maneuver through a job site quickly and with great traction and drive speed. The platform hydraulically turns 160° and can stay level through the whole range. Front-entry platforms are available from 1.83 meters to 2.44 meters and come with 227 kilogram to 272 kilogram capacity for tools and operators. Continuous, 360° rotating turntables provide operators quick, easy positioning.
The Z-135/70 unit comes outfitted with a Jib-Extend, which is a telescoping jib. It extends from 3.66 meters to 6.1 meters. This specific unit can also reach 110° vertically to give the user the ability to reach jobs that were unreachable by traditional jibs before. A secondary reverse-articulating boom on the Z-80/60 model gives the user 8.83 meters of up and over reach. This specific feature enables up and over reaching jobs to be done with zero front arm swing.
Genie also offers the Fast Mast system that allows for precious time to be saved when both secondary and primary booms need to be lifted or for lowering the platform without having to lower the secondary boom. The Fast Mast system enables both booms to be raised fully at the same time. Both of Genie Fast Mast System's features reduces the time required for users to descend and ascend, increasing effectiveness and productivity.
