Telescopic forklifts
Telescopic lift trucks provide height and versatility. These models are equipped with a pronged lift on an arm which extends over the top of the truck. The arm, or crane, is called a telescopic boom. The boom allows the operator to maintain a high degree of control while raising the cargo to great heights. Standard forklifts can not move the cargo towards and away from the cab of the forklift, while a telescopic forklift allows that movement. The telescopic forklift is commonly used in construction and agriculture. It is recommended for applications where greater lift and control is needed.
A forklift carton clamp attachments are better in situations requiring high volume carton handling. The attachment has arm pads with four way reversible rubber linings which enable the operator to apply uniform clamping force when picking up a cargo. It comes with a backrest that protects the cargo from damage.
A slip sheet attachment fits onto a slip sheet forklift. It is used for storing systems which don't use pallets. The attachment clamps onto the slip sheet and pulls it onto the forklift forks. This kind of system is useful for intra-corporate deliveries and for overseas shipments.
A man basket is a lift platform designed specially to raise personnel. The basket attaches to the forklift forks, held in with a strap or chain that is to be directly secured to the forklift carriage. The platform has railings to protect the workers from falling to the ground. Brackets on the platform are utilized for fastening the worker's safety harness.
