Articulating Booms - Electric and Bi-Energy
The Genie DC and Bi-Energy machines made by Terex provide emission-free and quiet operation in the most sensitive work applications. For instance, in industrial environments where the equipment must travel large distances, the Genie bi-energy system combines the benefits and versatility of a diesel fueled generator using a 48 Volt DC machinery.
Several of the key features provided by this combination include over, out and up positioning capabilities for complete versatility. As well, the zero tail-swing offered by most units, combined with the tight turning radius offers easy maneuvering through narrow aisles and standard doors.
The drive and proportional controls provide the machinery with smooth drive performance and precise boom positioning. For quiet and emission free operation suitable for sensitive environments, there is a 48V DC electric drive system. There are jib boom models on the market to function with an additional working range for specific jobs. On non-jib models, there is a self-leveling platform which rotates 90 degrees to either side.
Articulating Booms - Diesel Engine
Genie machinery by Terex are ideal for both indoor and outdoor construction applications. This particular model provides engine-powered articulating Z booms which combine extreme lifting versatility and up, out and over positioning capabilities. The outreach offered by this particular model is the best in the market.
Diesel engine machines on nearly all modes have an articulating boom that offers zero tail-swing with a small turning radius. These machinery are great in small or narrow places. Furthermore, they offer excellent torque, grade and terrain maneuverability and utmost power. The diesel engines are quiet in general too. Most models have active oscillating axle and full time drive positive drive traction system to offer great flexibility on surfaces that are uneven and rough.
The 2 or 4 wheel drive models, provide the rough terrain features and high ground clearance that make these desirable to add to any fleet. The jib boom types are available and provide extra range capabilities. On non-jib types, the self-leveling platform also rotates to ninety degrees on these models too.
