Lull Telehandlers
Ever since the year 1959, Lull has been producing telehandlers. Their machinery have been designed for load placement with their patented Stabil-Trak stability system. This system offers a lot more accurate placement capabilities. Lull telehandlers provide various optional attachments and these telehandlers are available to help you complete your requirements, whilst being safe and efficient at the worksite. If precision and accuracy are really important, leave it to a Lull telehandler to complete everything you need.
The Future
Many attachments have been designed and made in order to make rough terrain forklifts as functional as possible. Booms, winches and rotating fork carriages enable the forklift to position materials in a more precise way. The booms or articulating booms are available in 2 different extendible arms and could reach up and over structures so as to place loads on interior roof slope settings or in the upper or center floors. New products and attachments are being engineered and developed all the time and will debut in the future.
With extra safety features becoming more prevalent, several improvements have been made. Like for instance, load-reach management devices can restrict the forklift's reach automatically, based on the load being handled rather than depending on the operator. Pressure sensors are utilized in order to know the load weight. This information is sent to a tiny electronic memory device which had all the load-reach limitations pre-programmed into it.
The memory of the boom will compare the angle and the extension of the boom with the safety limits, when the load is being placed into position. There is a warning system or an essential lock-up device which prevents the operator from over-reaching and possibly causing the boom to fail or the forklift to tip over.
